Photography Railway Station on the Beijing-Mukden Line from the City Wall
A black-and-white photograph showing the railway station in Beijing, with departures bound for the city of Shenyang, which was then better known by its Manchu name Mukden.
The photograph is the 34th of 449 photographs of Beijing and its surroundings in the album of Ivan Skušek Jr., purchased during his stay in Beijing (1914–1920). In the handwritten inventory of the album, the photograph is referred to as Bahnhof (Beijing-Mukden) von der Stadtmauer. (DZ)
