The 50th insert from the album The Imperial City of Beijing, China. The photo shows the central part of the staircase of the Gate of Heavenly Purity (Qianqingmen 乾清門) in the Forbidden City (Gugong 故宫 or Zijincheng 紫禁城) in Beijing, which was exclusively for the use of the emperor.
