Lan Caihe figurine
A figurine depicting Lan Caihe 藍采和, one of the Daoist “eight immortals” (ba xian 八仙), legendary Daoist masters who are said to attain immortality by mastering various techniques. Lan Caihe is a bisexual figure, sometimes depicted as a man, sometimes as a woman, usually with a basket of flowers in his hands. They are considered the patron saint of flower growers.
