A figurine depicting Lan Caihe 藍采和, one of the Daoist “eight immortals” (ba xian 八仙), legendary Daoist masters who are said to attain immortality by mastering various techniques. Lan Caihe is sometimes depicted as a man, sometimes as a woman, usually with a basket of flowers in his hands. They are considered the patron saint of flower growers. The figure is padded and glued to cardboard. (HM, PP)
