A figurine depicting He Xiangu 何仙姑, one of the Daoist “eight immortals” (ba xian 八仙), legendary Daoist masters who are said to attain immortality by mastering various techniques. He Xiangu is the only immortal who is always depicted as a woman. She is shown with a lotus flower or a peach. The figure is padded and glued to cardboard. (HM, PP)
