Januarja 2025 je izšla posebna tematska številka znanstvene revije Asian Studies (Azijske študije) z naslovom East Asian “Orphaned” Objects: Tracing the Dispersed and Wandering Objects in European and American Collections. Številka se osredotoča na raziskovanje provenience “osirotelih predmetov” vzhodnoazijskega izvora. Namen te posebne številke je prispevati k raziskovanju izvora in se osredotočiti na osirotele predmete vzhodnoazijskega izvora. Preučuje različne teoretične in metodološke pristope obravnave teh predmetov in predstavlja azlične primere, ki so privedli do izgube (vsaj) dela njihove identitete.
