The 48th insert from the album The Imperial City of Beijing, China. The photo shows the middle part of the back staircase of the Hall of Preserving Harmony (Baohedian 保和殿) in the Forbidden City (Gugong 故宫 or Zijincheng 紫禁城), which was exclusively for the use of the emperor.
