The photo shows the Ziguang Pavilion (Ziguangge 紫光閣), located on the west bank of the Middle Lake (Zhonghai 中海) in the former Imperial West Park (Xiyuan 西苑). It is located west of the Forbidden City (Gugong 故宫 or Zijincheng 紫禁城) in Beijing.
