It shows examples of colour schemes of decorative carpentry patterns in the galleries of the Gate of Supreme Harmony (Taihemen 太和門) and the Gate of Heavenly Purity (Qianqingmen 乾清門) in the Forbidden City (Gugong 故宫 or Zijincheng 紫禁城) in Beijing.
