It shows the colour schemes of the buildings on Ying Terrace (Yingtai 瀛臺) from the perspective of Biyue Pavilion (Biyuelou 避月樓). This is located in the West Park (Xiyuan 西苑) west of the Forbidden City (Gugong 故宫 or Zijincheng 紫禁城).
