A black-and-white photograph showing the funeral procession and the loading of the coffin of the Dowager Empress Longyu (reigned 1908–1912) onto a train. A mourning ceremony in 1913 takes place at a railway station in Beijing.

The photograph is the 431st of 449 photographs of Beijing and its surroundings in the album of Ivan Skušek Jr., purchased during his stay in Beijing (1914–1920). In the handwritten inventory of the album, the photograph is referred to as Leichenzug der Kaiserin Yung-Lu: Verladen der Sarges. (DZ, MV)
