A black-and-white photograph showing the Duobao Liuli Pagoda (Duobao Liulita 多寶琉璃塔) or “Glazed Pagoda of a Thousand Treasures” on Longevity Hill (Wanshoushan 萬壽山) or “Mountain of Longevity” in Beijing. The mountain houses a complex covering several hectares, so-called Old Summer Palace (Yunamingyuan 圓明園). The pagoda is covered with yellow and green glazed tiles.

The photograph is the 349th of 449 photographs of Beijing and its surroundings in the album of Ivan Skušek Jr., purchased during his stay in Beijing (1914–1920). In the handwritten inventory of the album, the photograph is referred to as Wan-Schou-Schan: Porzellan-Pagode. (DZ, MV)
