The 124th insert from the album The Imperial City of Beijing, China. The photo shows the gate in front of the Pavilion of the Thousand Buddhas in the north-western part of the former Imperial West Park (Xiyuan 西苑). This is located west of the Forbidden City (Gugong 故宫 or Zijincheng 紫禁城) in Beijing.
