Photography Hall of the Mongols
A black-and-white photograph showing a two-story building referred to in the album’s inventory as the “Hall of the Mongols”. Most probably it is located somewhere in Beijing. In the background we see a stupa.
The photograph is the 290th of 449 photographs of Beijing and its surroundings in the album of Ivan Skušek Jr., purchased during his stay in Beijing (1914–1920). In the handwritten inventory of the album, the photograph is referred to as Mongollen-Halle. (DZ, MV)
