A black-and-white photograph showing statues of five Buddhist disciples at the West Pagoda (probably Cishou Sita Pagoda 慈壽寺塔) in Bali Village (Balizhuang 八里莊), now part of Haidian District (Haidianqu 海洉區) in Beijing.
The photograph is the 225th of 449 photographs of Beijing and its surroundings in the album of Ivan Skušek Jr., purchased during his stay in Beijing (1914–1920). In the handwritten inventory of the album, the photograph is referred to as Buddha-Schüller and Ba-Li-Dschuang. (DZ, MV)
