The 70th insert from the album The Decoration of the Palace Buildings in Beijing. It shows the colour schemes of the decorative patterns on the elements supporting the eaves of the Gate of Heavenly Purity (Qianqingmen 乾清門), the Hall of Heavenly Purity (Qianqinggong 乾清宮) and other buildings in the Forbidden City (Gugong 故宫 or Zijincheng 紫禁城) in Beijing. The colour schemes of the decorative patterns of the throne podium in the Hall of Supreme Harmony (Taihedian 太和殿) are also shown on the lower right-hand side of the insert.
